20TH IBERIAN SYMPOSIUM ON MARINE BIOLOGY STUDIES
30 March 2019
The University of Minho and the Centre of Molecular and Environmental Biology (CBMA) are organizing the 20th Iberian Symposium on Marine Biology Studies in Braga, Portugal, from 9 – 12 September 2019.
This is a symposium with a long history and tradition in the Iberian marine biology community that goes back to 1979. In spite of the Iberian core, the event is entirely international, and participants from all over the world are welcome and regularly participate.
The 20th SIEBM will constitute a splendid opportunity for the Marine Life DNA barcoding community to meet. A special dedicated session to DNA barcoding will be organized and, among the eight plenary speakers, Mehrdad Hajibabaei will deliver a plenary talk on eDNA metabarcoding in marine settings. We look forward to welcome you in Braga!
