Beginning in 2005, the International Barcode of Life conference series has been held every other year and has grown in both participation and scientific scope over time. The 9th conference will take place in Costa Rica. The iBOL conference series has been to 5 continents, and 9 countries with more than 70 nations discussing a wide range of topics.
