12th Pacific Science CongressSuva, Fiji
The 12th Pacific Science Inter-Congress will be held at the campus of the University of the South Pacific in Suva, Fiji from July 8 – 12, 2013.
The theme of the Fiji Inter-Congress is “Human Security in the Pacific”, which reflects the UNDP 1994 Human Development Report definition of human security: that the scope of global security should be expanded to include threats in seven areas: Economic security, food security, health security, environmental security, personal security, community security, and political security.
